Weekend update. We caught a Friday evening ferry to the island and spent the weekend basking in the sun and working at the house. There was a little more work than basking (actually a lot more work and very little in the way of basking), but over the weekend we fixed blinds, put batteries in various and sundry things, weeded, raked, and burned. We washed windows, built a slide out printer stand, procured pastries, made pizza, opened the cabins, walked on the beach, saw a pair of bald eagles mating, a fox, 8 deer and a camel. And a dog with goggles. Didn’t get pictures of everything, but did the dog with goggles.
I discovered, much to the annoyance of all, time lapse photography. What I haven’t yet figured out is how to transform thousands of pictures into a video, so in the meantime, here are some stills from the weekend.
We were treated with some great sunrises and shots of Mt Baker.
