WELL, WE'VE BEEN BUSY (NOT BLOGGING)

The blog has been inactive. We have not. We could have blogged about moving aboard, the pain of what to bring (not very much), what to store (quite a bit) or what to discard (probably not enough). We could have blogged about dealing with storage on the boat. We could have blogged about getting some of the bright work done (starboard side), or the people we’ve met on the dock (all great), or the knowledge we’ve gained from people on the dock (many of them have figured things out, we're still on a learning curve).

The recent installation of outdoor lighting at the cabin would have made a decent blog post as would some of the other projects up there.

We could have blogged about ‘part 2’ of the August trip, but the busier we got, the less time there was for a blog!

So, here we are, knocking on the door of October and the last blog post was ‘August trip part 1’.

As a general update, we’re doing well, settling in, and somewhat chafing that life seems to be too busy to untie the boat and sail across the sound on a whim.

We’ve enjoyed getting to know our immediate neighborhood and have marveled at the string of good weather and sunsets.

In lieu of an update, here are some images of the past several weeks:

So we have been out and about, just not blogging. Perhaps as the weather deteriorates, we'll have more time.
