SOUTH SOUND AND LEMAY CAR MUSEUM

Headed into the South Sound with Jodi and her parents.  We had set crab pots the night before, so the first order of business when I got home from work on Friday was to pull the pots.

3 nice keepers.  Good start to the trip.

We headed south with nice views of the Seattle skyline. 2 cruise ships were in then cut across the shipping lanes and motored with the sail up down Colvos Passage on the West side of Vashon.  Got to Gig Harbor and took the last open dock at the outstation.

Crab and Jodi's pasta salad comprised the dinner.

Saturday we headed over to Tacoma and the highlight of the day was the Lemay Car Museum.  I'm not much of a car guy (hey I drive a Chevy Malibu now), but the museum is pretty cool.  Evokes all sorts of memories and emotions when you see vehicles from the recent and distant past.
We understand this was built as a hotel, but then converted to a High School.

The car museum isn't that far from the dock.  Moderate walk or quick cab ride.
